More than 1.000 projects: 25 years bifa environmental institute
Prof. Rommel drew attention to the more than 1,000 projects that bifa has worked on behalf of companies, municipalities, ministries and other clients with 40 employees over the past 25 years. He made it clear that bifa is not a typical research institute: "We do not just want to publish professional articles. We want our ideas to be implemented. "As concrete examples, Rommel cited the activities of bifa in the realization of district heating networks around the incineration plant Weißenhorn and in the Swabian town of Meitingen.
State Secretary Franz Josef Pschierer emphasized in his speech the successful work of bifa and also Augsburg's mayor. Kurt Gribl and dr. Andreas Kopton, President of the IHK Augsburg emphasized the importance of the Institute for the Swabian economy and beyond.
