Recycling Technologies Bayern e.V. disbands

The companies assigned management of the network to bifa Umweltinstitut GmbH. For three years the RTB was funded by the ZIM NEMO programme of the Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Energy (Bundesministerium für Wirtschaft und Energie). Since November 2013 the network has been a registered association, funded solely by members' contributions.

The members of RTB e.V. are ten recycling technology manufacturers and an institute:
•    AVA-Huep GmbH u. Co. KG
•    bifa Umweltinstitut GmbH
•    Entsorgungstechnik Bavaria GmbH
•    Erdwich Zerkleinerungssysteme GmbH
•    ESTA Apparatebau GmbH & Co. KG
•    hamos GmbH
•    Hosokawa Alpine AG
•    Huber Technik GmbH & Co. KG
•    Trenn- und Sortiertechnik GmbH
•    RUF Maschinenbau GmbH & Co. KG
•    sesotec GmbH

After six successful years, on 26.07.2016 the members resolved to disband the association.
"The greatest benefit of the network was that we got to know each other intensively. We have now consolidated our cooperation relationships. We now no longer need the association. We are pleased with what we have achieved and our strength of purpose to end what no longer benefits us. The members will continue to meet regularly in future and will continue their cooperation," said the RTB Chairman, Dr. Siegfried Kreibe of bifa Umweltinstitut GmbH.

The association assets remaining after disbanding of the association has been completed will be donated to the charity “Bunter  Kreis” in Augsburg, which provides support for families with children suffering from chronic cancer and other serious illnesses in Swabia.
