Consequences of climate change - construction industry, trade and production industry

Climate change already has effects with considerable significance for long-term business strategies and entrepreneurial decisions. In the Bavarian Environmental Pact (Umweltpakt Bayern) from November 2010, the then project partners agreed to the follow-up project on climate consequences and adaptation strategies ("Klimafolgen und Anpassungsstrategien").
The results are presented to the public in this brochure. Exemplarily for the three industries: transport, tourism and energy supply, strategies are pointed out showing how industry can face the challenges of climate change actively and can emerge strengthened from the process of climate changes.
The brochure on the "consequences of climate change - transport, tourism and energy supply facing new challenges" ("Folgen des Klimawandels - Verkehrs, Tourismus und Energieversorgung vor neuen Herausforderungen") was produced by bifa on behalf of the Bavarian State Ministry of the Environment and Health (Bayerisches Staatsministerium für Umwelt und Gesundheit) and is available to download.
